  • Update the registration information and click the Submit button.

NOTE: If the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) needs to be updated, you will need to send a completed Form 161 to FCC Licensing Support. Please attach Form 161 to an online help request form at

You can submit a refund using one of the following two methods:

1. Submit your request online at Click on "Submit a help request" and complete the form and attach any documentation.

2. Mail a written request to :

Please Note: Due to COVID-19, requests for refund that are received by mail may have a delayed processing time.

Refunds are reviewed by the Commission on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Rule Sections 1.1113 and 1.1160. We cannot predict the amount of the refund, nor if the refund will be issued. Although Application Fees may not be refunded, it is within a licensee's rights to request a refund.
